About the Role
The Safer Pathways Local Service Support program provides flexible, short term, solution focused support and advocacy, for men who have experienced or are experiencing domestic and family violence. The Safer Pathways Case Worker will primarily provide case management and coordination services including information, advice and referral, assessment, goal planning and representation at Safety Action Meetings.

About You
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in social work, social science or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in case management and case co-ordination.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct phone-based assessments to access the needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged men and their families and develop respectful collaborative working relationships
- Knowledge of legislative requirements of Child Protection and mandatory reporting, issues relating to substance abuse and mental illness, domestic and family violence
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills (including correspondence, accurate record & case noting. Demonstrated experience and skills in using Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications and databases.
